This is the current design. Please comment k thank you very much. And hope that all comments are constructive as hardwork is put to this whole designing. Tag people. If no comments, after next week we'll order the tee shirts already.

Some descriptions:
- Round neck tee
- Material similar to old black choir tee
- Red (can use for many occasions)

Important announcement!

Hello everybody, the brainstorming of ideas to fund-raise our concert is not over yet! Every choir member is to come up with at least one idea (more than one will be better of course), and please share with the rest of us. If you feel shy or something, just tell your section leaders then =)

ALL SECTION LEADERS TAKE NOTE: Please collate all ideas and give them to me.

Also, please do not give the same ideas as your friends. Let's all be constructive in this brainstorming. We all want more $$$ after all. Like who wants to perform in a run-down concert hall (who knows the piano we rent may even be off-key and last tuned since a decade ago, or rusty music stands, or even platforms with gazillion splinters), print tickets that are barely attractive, advertise in a budget yet super low class, and worst of all, pathetic audience number because our concert already seems so not worth paying for?

Although the school will give us some cash, we'll need to fork out a sum of money as well. If you all want to perform in a more "WOW" concert, with classy concert halls etc, start putting on your thinking caps now! Get started on the brainstorming, perhaps grab some of your choir friends, sit down and think together and come up with ideas (maybe before Choir starts?)!

NO IDEA IS A BAD IDEA.

Concert is in August. May, Mid years exam. June, holidays. So now's the perfect time to plan our fundraising for our concert so we can start the fundraising asap :D

1. Sell things? What things? Do they appeal to the school esp. students? Attractive? Practical? Profit high?

Hey Choir, Common tests will be over by tomorrow, so ALL ARE TO COME FOR PRACTICE.

Time: 3-6pm

Venue: Choir Room #03-03

Sec4s are to head straight for Choir after your Structured Academic Programme till 5pm.

Attendance have always been taken, so everyone should be coming.

Those who do not attend Choir practice tomorrow will jolly well have to explain to me, Ms Ng and Mr Loh. So unless you have a valid reason, I will see you in Choir tomorrow.

And as you can see from the previous post, we didn't really achieve our New Year Resolutions, so this tells us that we'll have to start working harder and be more serious during practices. I hope there will be full strength tomorrow, including Sec 4s, so we can start producing the Gold Choir sound again :)

Hey all

Hey everyone!

Please note that first day of school also marks the first day of Choir.

Choir has new days and timings:

Wednesdays and Fridays, 3pm to 6pm.

Reasons:

1) Wed and Fri are the official CCA days, so this way we will not clash with too many after-school activities.

2) 3pm to 6pm means no excuse if your lessons end at 2.15pm.

Note: I've viewed the new timetable. If things do not change too much, some classes may end at 2.45pm. For my case, I'm ending class at 2.45pm on wednesday (week1). I'll check with Ms Ng about this. Meanwhile, everything stays this way.

New Year Resolutions for Choir:

1) Be good enough for Czech trip. Note: We'll only go to Czech if our attitude satisfies the Comm, Ms Yin, Ms Ng and Mr Loh. By looking at the present situation, we'll need to work alot harder if you guys wanna sing in Europe.

2) Punctual.

3) Perfect attendance.

4) CCA promotion Day: 4th Jan (Friday) See how near it is? Means this wed we'll have to drill on the songs for this day. Please be serious about this, because we need to bring in good singers to choir, and if we sing badly that day, we'll attract the wrong group of people into choir.

5) Chinese New Year. We should not embarrass ourselves every year. While we pray that we won't have to dance with chopsticks and handkerchiefs, we'll have to make sure our performance will not flop.

There are new rules and new stuffs coming up for Year 2008, and we'll be updating you guys soon.

I AM SO GLAD WE ALL DID WELL TODAY!

I am, did you hear yourselves? We didn't sound like this during practices @ LT2! The sound coming from us previously were like nonsense, and this time it was like. WOAH. Zai choir sound (BUT STILL NOT GOLD STANDARD YET) Haiyoh always like that! We always reveal our hidden talents at the eleventh hour $%#&! Eh people must be consistent okay!

Still, you all worked very hard. We can see the efforts! The juniors, the seniors, the comm, the conductors, etc.... You all deserve a break! So there you have it. Till 27th Dec (:

Yes, she helped us like. A.L.O.T. Okay! So to repay her, WE SHOULD GIVE HER FULL ATTENDANCE, BETTER ATTITUDES & LARGER NUMBERS IN CHOIR! People start grabbing your friends who seemingly loves singing, and let them join us! We welcome anyone! (as long as they're not tone deaf) :D

As for attitude-wise, most are fine, except for some. Still, we all must have that NEVER-SAY-DIE-TO-CHOIR ATTITUDE :D

27 DECEMBER ALL ARE TO COME!! MUST HAVE FULL ATTENDANCE. You all are pretty sure how "cruel" we can deal with latecomers/ponners. So, be there okay! No monkey business. We still have things to do next year!

I know it's really taxing, but no choice, because we really need to drill on the songs. We've got so many areas to improve on. We also have to master our notes (that's the fundamental). Then we'll need the dynamics and expression and everything else to make us sound better than just "pitch perfect".

I promise more outings (Choir/Comm) after the concert, so as to strengthen junior-senior ties. Meanwhile, we work harder for our concert alright?

By the way, if any juniors feel that tagging to complain is a must, be my guest. Banning and deleting of unnecessary tags won't take up too much of my time. (:

Attention.

For the next two practices (LAST TWO PRACTICES AND IT'S OUR CONCERT ALREADY), everyone please be there, and punctual.

1. Traffic jam is NOT an excuse.
2. Sick with MC only. Stomachache all these not accepted.

IF LATE: -FINE- Every 5-minute basis. $1/5minutes. I've elaborated before. 6 minutes late, fine $2. Etc.

Those who have something on and is absent/late please be more responsible and kindly inform your SLs beforehand. Don't expect us to excuse you if you tell us why you're late only when you've reached. Thanks.

And as for those with terrible attendance please start coming for choir or your points will be automatically deleted. It is your responsibility to turn up for choir, not your SLs'.

Finally, the tag board provided is not for verbal abuses. Please do not spam/scold others here. I will also not entertain Anonymouses from now on. Any anonymous tags will be deleted and IP add banned.

Please be reminded: 28th Nov is the Memorial Concert @ VCH. Those 10 people going (Me, Chinyu, Eeron, Asaph, Vendela, Christel, Peiru, Tiffany, Zann, Jolene) if you guys wanna meet up together then go there, we'll discuss them on tuesday. Take note: It starts at 7.30pm. Yes can wear any kinds of clothes lol. For those who haven't paid me the money please pay me by tuesday, thanks(: Yeah any more enquiries feel free to contact me(:
