Hello choir,

Please note that we'll be having SYF rehearsal at VCH tomorrow, 8.50am to 1.40pm.
You are excused from the second period onwards but you'll return to class at 1.40pm (which is only 5 minutes for those who finish at 1.45pm).
All are to bring their choir gown/ blazers and shoes.
Those who did not receive their excuse slips are to find Miss Ng tomorrow after FRC to get them.

And,
VJ Choir will be staging Symphony of Voices 2009, 14th May 7.30pm at the Esplanade.
Tickets are priced at $20, $30 and $40.
Those interested please order your tickets from me.
And it is strongly recommended that you go cos VJ's an extremely good choir (those who went to watch their SOV concerts the past years will know).

Hello choir,

Please be reminded that there will be practice every Tuesday and Thursday morning at 6.45am in the LT 1. Miss Yin will be coming down personally to take us for the short 30 minutes session, so I hope everyone cooperates and make full use of the time.

Please also explain to your parents that these morning practices is necessary as our SYF slot is (again) in the morning so we have to get used to singing in early mornings. Yes, everytime we get morning slots we have morning practices.

Hello choir,

Due to the good signs of progress for yesterday's practice, our next practice will be tomorrow (20/3), 9.30am to 1pm at the Music Room. Yes, today's practice was kindly cancelled.

And if we make even greater and more impressive progress tomorrow, Saturday's practice will be off also. So it depends, whether or not you want/have to come back on Saturday.

Girls are reminded to bring their shoes on Friday, we're going to polish up the choreography for Kasar.

Hello choir,

Tomorrow's (18/3) practice venue will be changed to choir room instead as it will be TKGS choir's turn to come over tomorrow for practice.

So please show good discipline and warmth as hosts tomorrow (if you get to see them haha).
And I want everyone to give in their best and all tomorrow, don't want to hear any disappointing nonsense from you all again when the sec 4s come back!

And, practice is as usual on Saturday also, from 8 to 11.30am. Girls are reminded that you are to bring your shoes for every Saturday practice. That means we'll see each other for the whole of the March holidays, everyday. Unless you have valid reasons.

Regarding the CCA points debate on the tagboard. It is most possibly true, but leaders, that doesn't mean that you lose your sense of responsibility and passion in leading your section and the choir. You are chosen as a leader because the teachers see a particular unique quality in you, so please do not disappoint them just because you are probably not getting points for the extra commitments. For those who feel there is a problem with this, please voice out to the school directly cos its their decision. And, Miss Ng has already finalised the committee so there would be no more changes unless she finds that people are not doing their job well, then she'll pull them out.

MARCH PRACTICE SCHEDULE

hi choir these are the practice dates for MARCH::
1) tues 9.30am-1pm CHOIR ROOM
2) wed 2.30pm-6pm LT2
3) thurs 2-6pm LT2
4) fri 9.30-1pm CHOIR TOOM.

please note the various venues and be reminded that from now onwards, practices on schooling days will be from 3-6.30PM. please let your parents know of the extension in timing.
